Funny ha ha or funny strange? Philly's comedy scene has both -- from the guttural post-It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia laughs of Delco Proper to the experimental mindfuck whimsy of The New Dreamz. For we are a city ready to embrace all types of humor in its sweaty, flappy arms. Now MilkBoy is embracing this diversity with the comedy showcase Laughs on Philly: Unpasteurized, a new event that will be held on the last Wednesday of every month that promises two complete shows bridged by locally produced short films. With the debut including heavy hitters such as Alex Pearlman, Tim Butterly, and The Incredible Shrinking Matt & Jacquie, Laughs on Philly should quickly establish itself as a who's who of Philadelphia comedy icons.
Laughs on Philly: Unpasteurized. Wednesday, April 27th. 7pm. $8-10. MilkBoy. 1100 Chestnut Street.
