Way far up on the neck of East Passyunk Avenue, the bar called Lucky 13 hangs out, gloriously raunchy like a sick power chord — friendly, harmonious, and just a little ragin’. And a few times a year, that riff stretches all the way out into the street and brings a bunch of friends along. It’s the most decidedly rock ‘n’ roll block party in the city (even more so than Molestice). This summer’s edition is no different, with sets from The Pretties, Daniel Henry, Dulls, Dark Web and Residuels. There’s also a well-put-together grip of vendors to match, including Sweet Jane Vintage, Meadowsweet Mercantile, Cactus Collective and more. Add some food trucks and a beer tent, and you’ve got the city’s single best destination for black jorts we can think of.
