From Lessons In Perspective, by Scott Albrecht [Courtesy Paradigm Gallery & Studio]

From an unassuming-enough corner perch on Fabric Row (itself increasingly the hippest street in town), Paradigm Gallery & Studio seems to be hell-bent on consistently producing what are, at any given time you care to pick lately, the city’s finest, funnest, most relevant gallery shows. We’re not sure if they’re just especially great at having this triad of sensibilities or most other galleries are laying down on the job. Up next, opening with a reception on Friday evening: A double header with three artists. Jim Houser and Adam Wallcavage are the bold, bright and now-pretty-familiar Space 1026 alums, and their half of the deal is bold, bright stuff they’ve made together; Scott Albrecht, who shares the other half of the bill, creates beautiful graphic patterns that jump off the wall in part because as often as not — oh, would you look at that — they’re made of wood. What all three share, other than wall space this month, is a great sense of now-ness that increasingly feels like Paradigm’s stock-in-trade.
