We're in it now, babies — the shit, that is — and it's straight back to Bushian Times, when even your regular ol' fun-ass Friday night art show/DJ night is a benefit for the ACLU. If you're reading this as faint praise, think again, because for as awful as New Trumpistan already is, there's something about the activism on the wind right now that feels like, Goddamn, it's great to be back and better than ever! Look at all these people, ready for HEAVY PEACE VIBRATIONS IN THE STREET at a moment's notice! Is this what was meant by Making America Great Again?
Well, no, and that's why we're here on Friday night. The Crybabies Art Show Fundraiser is at the Maas Building & 5th Side (a really great place to experience art of many kinds, if you haven't been) and features the work of Margo Hurst, Sarah Moore, Weston Kenley, Ali Doucette, Nathan Hurst, Keyonna Butler, Corey Danks, Angela Rio, Jacqueline Powell and Dan Dinsmore. DJs include Mike Vee, Angela Rio and Andrew Hagiwara.
