Writer/literary host (and forthcoming Philebrity contributor) Jaime Fountaine takes the already pretty great Good Good Comedy Theatre mold of shows in a more bookish direction with Excuse My Dust, an onstage “hour of wit, writing, and weirdness.” Which isn’t to say it won’t be funny — it will be. Each of this month’s guests — Barrelhouse editor Mike Ingram, poet Gina Myers and comedian Alejandro Morales — are each their own special brand of loveable wiseass, and Fountaine has a good enough gift for gab that she once led an improvised fictional walking tour of Northern Liberties that was as least as good as any five M. Night Shyamalan movies. Excuse My Dust is the kind of party you want to get invited to, even if you do have to bring your own booze. (You do.)
