Yes, GreenFest is far and away the largest environmental festival in the Philadelphia area, boasting over 150 exhibitors and vendors, shopping for local green wares, live music, kid-friendly activities, and more, but it's also this: A nice Sunday out, with adjacent things like the always solid Headhouse Farmers' Market, pretty damned good brunch at spots like Bridget Foy's or The Hungry Pigeon, a Fabric Row that just became the other hippest street in town when no one was looking, day beers at Tattooed Mom, the finest used book shopping in the city (Brickbat/Thrift For AIDS/Mostly Books pack a real punch, and there's even more), and, of course, Repo Records. Just wake up and go here.
