Going through your fall/winter wardrobe right about now? Donate your gently used winter clothes to the clothing drive being held this week by City Wide Mutual Aid. (Follow ‘em on IG right now as well, because they’re doing and amplifying good work all over town.) They’re the hosts of the drive, and have several super generous spots around the city who have volunteered to host additional donation drop-off boxes for them:
- Philly Phreedom Network (West)
- Lather Hair Studio (Brewerytown)
- Crust Vegan Bakery (Manayunk)
- Jinxed (Fishtown)
These locations will be collecting donations through Oct 29 during their posted business hours. These are all in addition to their 24/7 drop box in South Philly.
DesignPhiladelphia is about halfway through as of this writing, and while it’s true that all festivals in 2020 are lacking that certain something (people), Design Philadelphia does have the Night of Lights, running along Germantown Avenue throughout the week. Go outside; get thy steps in.
