Benefitting the Crossroads Women's Center, tonight's multi-multi-band bill — dubbed Unify! An International Women's Day Benefit Concert — at Underground Arts boasts a stellar lineup and a cause beyond reproach. Looking at the lineup, which veers from punk to R&B to folk and back again, it struck us that it'd also double as a fine, handy intro/guide to some of the women making musical waves in Philly right now. So off to Soundcloud we went, where we were psyched to find plenty of tracks just waiting for us. This, of course, represents just a sampling of not just what's on the lineup tonight, but also overall in the city's music scene at large. But for now, dig in.
