Found Footage Festival Coming to World Cafe Live

Found Footage Festival Coming to World Cafe Live

The team behind the Found Footage Festival has been gathering VHS tapes since 1991.

Next month, the Found Footage Festival is coming to Philadelphia, with a screening of bizarre found VHS tapes at World Cafe Live. It’s their first new show since 2014, according to FFF co-host Nick Prueher.

Judging by the trailer, the show seems to be a montage of clips you might see re-enacted in an episode of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! It includes weird homemade TV commercials, a woman eating bugs, and some news bloopers.

“I don’t give a shit,” says a man in one clip, standing in front of what looks to be a drainage ditch adjacent to a shopping mall. “I’m cold, and I’m fucking freezing and I hate this.”

Us too, man. Us too.

The show is happening March 2nd, at 8 p.m., at World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut Street. Tickets are $15. More info available here.
