The Benjamin Franklin Parkway shall always exist in my scrapple-encrusted heart as the pinnacle of the Delaware Valley and an absolute marvel of city planning. Beginning this week, you can toast its undeniable beauty for yourself from nine stories up with the AssemblyRooftop Lounge from opens atop the Logan. The minimalist all weather rooftop bar lets the scenery do the heavy lifting, choosing instead to focus on libations that include an extensive list of champagne offerings, "tableside punch service, " and, naturally, Miller High Life, that furthers along the feelings of being intoxicated by looking out upon Philly's beauty. (A menu of small plates ranging from yellow fin tuna tartar to Black River Caviar -- hello New Philadelphians! -- will also be available). These food and drink offerings may eventually go out of vogue, yet the Parkway shall remain eternal.
